Common questions

Do I need to install Python or run a local server?

No — that's the whole point. The previous version required a local Python server running on your machine. The cloud version connects to the Uprise server automatically. Just install the plugin, enter your license key, and it works.
How accurate is the Filipino/Taglish transcription?
▾
Very accurate. We use Groq's Whisper Large v3 with a custom Filipino vocabulary prompt built specifically for A-Z Job Challenge content and Filipino vlog culture. Claude AI then post-processes the output to fix common Whisper mishearings in Filipino speech — including doubled words, hybrid verb spellings, and Gen Z slang.
Which Premiere Pro version is supported?

Adobe Premiere Pro 2026 (26.x). The plugin uses CEP. Adobe has announced UXP migration — we are building a UXP version ahead of the September 2026 deadline, which will be a free update for all active subscribers.
How does the license key work?
▾
After payment you receive a license key by email. Enter it in the plugin on first launch — it validates against the Uprise cloud server. One license covers one machine. Your subscription renews monthly and can be cancelled anytime by emailing admin@uprisemedia.co.
What happens if the cloud server is offline?
▾
Transcription requires the cloud server. However, all previously transcribed captions are saved locally in Premiere and remain fully editable offline. The asset library and keyword matching in UpriseFX also work with locally cached data.
Can I cancel anytime?
▾
Yes. Email admin@uprisemedia.co and we'll cancel your subscription immediately. No lock-ins, no cancellation fees. Your license remains active until the end of the current billing period.
